Our greatest hits compiled into one bike. Just hit play. If ever a bike resembled your most cherished mix tape compilation, the Hightower is it. Featuring our lower-link mounted shock design, updated, adjustable geometry, this "Engineering Best Of..." assembles some of our biggest design pleasers into one belter of a road-trip companion. The Hightower has been a does-it-all-well trail bike since its inception. More maneuverable than its longer-travel sibling, the Megatower, and more at home in the steep-and-chunky than its snappy cousin Tallboy, Hightower excels when the route covers 'all points in between,' and descents come courtesy of some big-ass climbs. The VPP suspension's lower-link-mounted shock creates a nearly linear leverage curve, meaning it mops up bumps of all sizes and maintains the kind of progressivity normally reserved for our V10 DH bike! 145mm of rear travel complemented by a 150mm front end gives Hightower just a bit more front and rear travel over the first generation model. Combined with a slacker 65-degree head tube angle, the Hightower still sits squarely in the Goldilocks zone, but with a touch more "Oh sh*t, get me out of here" capability when the porridge gets too hot! Balancing stiffness and weight savings in all the right places is a hallmark of all Santa Cruz carbon frames, and the Hightower flies the flag yet higher. The advanced composite chassis tracks well across all trail surfaces, holds a line, and is reactive to rider directions while isolating pedal-influenced inputs. The Hightower also has a bonus disc to heighten the experience: the flip chip. In the High setting, the BB height is a little higher for those tricky tech trails and/or when Plus sized tires are required. In the Low position, the shock rate is more progressive to provide additional bottom-out resistance. Whatever mood you're in, the tone of the Hightower can be adapted to meet your individual taste. And, speaking of taste, there's room for a water bottle inside the main frame and a threaded BB for convenience. There's refined cable routing for better shifting performance, simpler installation, and no cable rub. On top of that, there's a tailgate shuttle guard, downtube protector, shock fender, and noise-canceling chainstay protector to keep things quiet. The lifetime frame warranty and lifetime pivot bearing replacement policy assure you that the Hightower will keep delivering the hits for years to come.
$4,299.10 $4,999.00 14% Off
You know what's hard about choosing what model of Santa Cruz suits you? It's having to narrow down what kind of riding you want to do. But what if you don't want to be pinned down by labels? What if you want to just be a mountain biker in the broadest sense of the word? What if you want to choose how you ride rather than what to ride? If this sounds familiar, then try a Bronson. Our demo crew have a saying, 'If in doubt, take a Bronson out'. The 150mm-travel bike can go deep on any landing and the VPP suspension design makes sure that there's no wasted energy when heading back up for another go. If you value style at speed or want to have fun feeling fast, then mixed wheels (29" up front, 27.5" out back) show that the spectrum is a loop not opposite points on a scale. The larger front wheel provides more traction and stability that'll make you feel more confident squaring off the turns and diving for the inside lines. But a 27.5-inch tire in the rear means this bike still loves getting up on the back wheel and into the air. From flat out on the trail to fully flat over a table, each generation of Bronson rider redefines expectations of what a mountain biker is. Wheel Size: - Size X-Small: 27.5-inch - Sizes Small – X-Large: 29-inch front / 27.5-inch rear

A Fair Advantage We tapped into everything we’ve learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes and added the super-efficient Superlight™ suspension to make a World Cup-winning XC race bike. The Blur isn’t guaranteed to make you a race winner but being the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike we’ve ever made, it might be the difference between claiming first place...or just crossing the line. Design Details: - SRAM Eagle Transmission - stronger, better shifting, wirelessly The next generation SRAM Eagle Transmission specced on our CC-carbon models is a radically robust, fully integrated, and interdependent wireless transmission. Built around the universal constant of the wheel axle itself, the Full Mount hangerless attachment creates a far stronger connection to the frame and the super strong derailleur provides unprecedented strength. Shifting under load is made possible due to a combination of X-SYNC technology and cassette mapping, creating seamless shifts even during your hardest power output. The new AXS Pods are extremely ergonomic and highly customizable, so shifting gears is light and intuitive. It's simply the most advanced transmission and nearly as tough as the mountain itself. - XC or TR The TR builds feature more travel (115mm rear, 120mm front) slightly beefier tires (Maxxis Rekon), a full height adjust dropper post, no lockout remote, and larger brake rotors. It's not a trail bike, it's an XC bike for certain courses. - Light Carbon Frame The full-suspension Blur is lighter than most pre-race dinners you'll eat - 289g saving over the previous generation. - Reserve 28 XC wheels This is the lightest Reserve MTB rim (385g or 1367g complete). The rim bed is shallower and wider, meant for the newer generation of higher volume XC tires which are popular with elite racers. - Geo to match The Blur's chainstay length is matched to frame size so every rider, no matter their height, gets the same balanced geometry and bike fit. - Two water bottles Two water bottle mounts within the front triangle mean there's enough juice (or whatever electrolytes you choose) to keep the engine running. - No proprietary gubbins There are no fiddly proprietary parts that could leave you stranded in a Cape Epic or Breck Epic campsite. - Made to last many lifetimes The legendary Santa Cruz fit, finish, and quality construction put this into a league of its own. The frame, bearings, and optional Reserve wheels come with a lifetime warranty and any service is easy to do with our Rider Support pledge. - Chainguide The only thing you'll be dropping is your competitors. - Superlight™ Suspension Our priority with the Blur was to ensure that every kilojoule of a rider's energy is translated into forward thrust. That meant making something lightweight but also really efficient. This is the (super)lightest suspension we've ever made. Frame Sizing If you're on the cusp between the recommended height range of two sizes, the absolute best thing is to try to ride them both. At a minimum, check the stack/reach measurements on your current bike and compare it to the new model you are looking at to get an idea of a fit you are already comfortable with. If riding the bike is not an option, consider the following. Personal Preference A larger size frame will be more stable and will give you more room to move without upsetting the weight balance of the bike. The larger size will put the front wheel further in front of you, which gives the feeling of security and conversely, it will require more significant body movements when you WANT to shift the weight bias of the bike. Think hard about your riding style and how active/intuitive you want it to be vs. stable and speedy. You'll need to work a bit harder to muscle the larger bike around. Body Dimension Not all bodies at a given height are the same. If you have longer legs and a shorter torso than the average person your height, that may push you towards the smaller of the recommended sizes. If you're all torso and arms, most likely you'll want to size up.

The Process 153 27.5 is the smaller-wheeled sibling to our excellent all-around Goldilocks bike, the Process 153 29. The Process 153 hits all the sweet spots at a very budget-friendly price. The 160/153mm front and rear suspension gives you unwavering reliability on tricky descents while still climbing with ease. It's spec'd with everything you need and nothing you don't. Strong brakes, dependable suspension and grippy tires equal the perfect all-around package. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x148mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. BEAMER INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION Built to be off-the-top progressive, Beamer Independent Suspension helps the bike to stay higher in the travel and recover from hits more quickly. The Operators are instilled with what our product managers like to call "pure shock movement," whereby the shock is protected from side load. Designed to be highly tuneable and extremely durable, the Beamer IS is our version of greased lightning. 27.5" WHEELS The benefits of the 27.5-inch wheel are simple: they roll over obstacles and track better than 26-inch wheels, but are more maneuverable and nimble than 29-inch ones.
